Italian Dining Experience Santa Rosa — Capriciano Osteria
Italian dining in Santa Rosa, the Capriciano way, runs from the first aperitivo to the last espresso, six nights a week from 5 PM. At Capriciano, Italian seafood cuisine is at the heart of everything we do. Our goal is to bring the soul of the Mediterranean coast — its flavors, its rhythm, its warmth — to the heart of Santa Rosa. To complement the kitchen, we pour Italian and Sonoma wines and Italian-style craft beer, and host private dining experiences. Together, these create an evening worth remembering.

Italian Dining in Santa Rosa, Course by Course
Use this page as a map to Italian dining in Santa Rosa at Capriciano. Each part of the evening has its own page: Aperitivi to begin; Antipasti & Starters, Handmade Pasta, Firewood Oven Pizza and Pesce & Molluschi from the kitchen; then Wine & Bubbles, Birre and Digestivi & Caffè from the drinks list. For groups and occasions, see The Long Table, Corporate Dinners, Birthdays & Milestones and the seasonal Al Fresco Terrace.

What is on the dinner menu?
The dinner menu moves from Antipasti Freddi and Antipasti Caldi to Insalate, pizzas from the firewood oven, Pasta, Carne and Pesce e Molluschi, with Bites such as shishito peppers, lemon chili broccolini and marinated Mediterranean olives on the side. Desserts include Tiramisu, Panna Cotta and Gelato. Gluten-free and vegan pasta are available on request; our kitchen is shared, so we can’t guarantee that any dish is allergen-free.
What do you serve to drink?
Beer and wine only. The wine list pairs Sicily, Piedmont, Tuscany and other Italian regions with Sonoma County and Napa Valley, by the glass, by the bottle and in flights. Italian imports and California craft beers make up the beer list, the aperitivi and digestivi are wine-based, and the caffè menu runs from espresso to affogato. Guests who are not drinking can choose fresh lemonade, iced tea or Sicilian sodas.
Do you host private events?
Yes. The whole restaurant can be reserved as a full buyout, and smaller groups can book a table, with reservations recommended for parties of four or more. Our event pages cover The Long Table, Corporate Dinners, Birthdays & Milestones and the Al Fresco Terrace. To plan, email hi@capriciano.com or call (707) 800-7904 with your date, your guest count and the occasion you are celebrating.
